SiiT Workshops are group sessions that explore Tagalog and Filipino culture through creativity — storytelling, art, music, and conversation. Designed for people who learn better together and believe that culture is best understood when you’re living it, not just studying it.

During your workshop
You’ll explore Tagalog together through creative activities and conversations based on a theme — a word, a story, a cultural tradition. Expect to learn something unexpected.
After your workshop

In this workshop, we explore kulay — and what color means in Filipino culture, from the textiles of our regions to the hues of our everyday life. Paint a feeling. Paint a memory. Paint something you’d say in Tagalog if you knew the words.

Some of the most powerful photos aren’t of grand places — they’re of home. In this workshop, we explore Tagalog through the lens of tahanan — what home looks, feels, and sounds like for Filipinos and Filipino families abroad. Bring your camera, your phone, and your memories.
Kabataan
The stories we grew up with — the folk tales, the playground games, the phrases our parents said — live in us longer than we realize. In this workshop, we bring them back to life through performance, voice, and movement. No acting experience needed. Just your memories, and a willingness to play.
