I grew up in the Philippines and moved to the U.S. with my husband and son. Like many Filipino-American families, we’ve wrestled with what it means to pass on our culture while thriving in a new country.

I created Say It in Tagalog as a gentle, joyful response to that challenge — and a love letter to my child, my culture, and our language.
